Research Objective: To evaluate the social impact of projects within South Korea’s ‘Balanced Regional Development Policy’ from a more inclusive perspective, aiming to better safeguard the interests of socially vulnerable groups.
Research Content:
- Study of the spatial distribution characteristics of socially vulnerable groups;
- Research on international policy examples supporting vulnerable groups in various regions;
- Development of methods for assessing the inclusiveness of ‘Balanced Regional Development Policies’;
- Research on improvement plans for ‘Balanced Regional Development Policies’.
In conducting this project, both qualitative and quantitative research methods were employed. Based on the concept of ‘Inclusive Balanced Development’, we developed methods for evaluating policy inclusiveness and proposed five institutional improvement schemes for South Korea’s Balanced Development Policy.
